<\/p>\nAre you familiar with the term Blue Monday?\u00a0According to Google, it\u2019s typically a Monday on which one feels gloomy or dispirited, especially because one\u00a0has to\u00a0return to work after the weekend.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0also a term used to\u00a0represent the 3rd Monday in January, dealing with gloomy weather and the bills associated with holiday shopping.<\/p>\n
I have personally seen my mid-month payday dwindle to nothing after paying holiday bills.\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0witnessed\u00a0this gloom back\u00a0in\u00a0the day when I was paid twice a month.<\/p>\n
Blue Monday has also been associated with high suicide rates in a lot of countries, which have increased every year over the last two decades.<\/p>\n
My company, Evolutionary Healer, along with my business partner and wife, Linda Vettrus-Nichols, is bringing this phenomenon in the human psyche to light. Over the years, we have created many social media campaigns to enlighten people that there are options available to get through the \u201cBlue Monday Effect\u201d.<\/p>\n
We also use these campaigns as a springboard into a new year with new enthusiasm.<\/p>\n
The other day, I spoke with someone who shared a simple and thoughtful tradition. Each year on Blue Monday, she places cheerful cards with personalized, handwritten notes on the desks of her direct reports. They are greeted with a small moment of encouragement when they arrive at work.<\/p>\n
This kind of low-effort encouragement is especially effective on days when many people are already experiencing reduced mental capacity and neuro energy.<\/p>\n
When neuro energy is low, even listening can feel taxing.<\/p>\n
Processing spoken information requires significant mental effort, and on days like Blue Monday\u2014when brains are already\u00a0sluggish\u2014too much talking can quickly become overwhelming.\u00a0That\u2019s\u00a0why quiet, written gestures of encouragement can be so powerful: they offer support without demanding extra energy from the brain.<\/p>\n

Pure noise when she spoke! And it was quite exhausting listening to her.<\/p>\n
Letting people\u00a0know\u00a0they are not alone is an extraordinary step towards healing. Depression is about \u201cdisconnection\u201d.\u00a0And that \u201cdisconnection\u201d\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0just about feeling\u00a0disconnected from\u00a0others,\u00a0it\u2019s a disconnection within\u00a0ourselves\u00a0and a sense of being alone.<\/p>\n
In 2009, I found myself standing on the edge of a\u00a028-story\u00a0building. Nothing was working in my\u00a0life,\u00a0and no one really knew.<\/p>\n
I was perfectly calm and ready to step off the edge; I heard a voice saying, \u201cTurn around, I have work for you\u201d. When I turned around, no one was there. A few months later, I\u00a0had created\u00a0a unique profiling system that stops repetitive behaviors such as Suicide Ideation, Self-Sabotage, Procrastination, and even Post Traumatic Stress.<\/p>\n
Now, as the father of Repetitive Behavior Cellular Regression\u00ae (RBCR), I am pleased and excited that my practitioners and I help people dealing with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress\u00a0Disorder\/Response) and other repetitive behaviors, including and not limited to Suicide Ideation.<\/p>\n

What is repetitive behavior?\u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Have you ever made a New Year\u2019s resolution and\u00a0failed to\u00a0keep it the very next day? Did you\u202f\u00a0make\u00a0the same resolution the following year with the same results? If yes, this is considered\u202f\u00a0repetitive\u00a0behavior.<\/p>\n Making a conscious decision to do or not to do something and then\u00a0failing to do\u00a0so, two or more\u202f\u00a0times, is my definition of repetitive behavior.<\/p>\n In my sixteen years of research, I have found that many repetitive behaviors, such as Post-Traumatic Stress Response (PTSR), Imposter Syndrome, Self-Sabotage, etc., come out of our thoughts almost non-stop, drawing us further into the abyss of depression.<\/p>\n Google defines Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) as a type of depression linked to seasonal changes, typically starting in fall\/winter due to less sunlight, causing low energy, sadness, and social withdrawal.<\/p>\n This has also occurred in some of my clients who suffer severely in a certain month of the year.\u202f It has been interesting to see the connection after finding a highly emotional (amnesic) event that took place in early childhood during a certain time of year; many\u00a0times\u00a0resulting in PTSR.<\/p>\n I took a psychology class in high school and remember studying a little bit about Dr. Sigmund Freud. I\u00a0had no motivation\u00a0to take that class\u2013now\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0grateful that I did.<\/p>\n Dr. Freud believed that what people suffered\u00a0from in\u00a0adult life stemmed from a traumatic event early in childhood. He was right, yet he\u00a0couldn\u2019t\u00a0find a consistent method to find an amnesic, early childhood trauma using hypnosis and I did… WITHOUT the use of hypnosis\u2026 NLP, EMDR, EFT,\u00a0drugs\u00a0or psychotropics.<\/p>\n The unique thing I have noticed is that most of my clients suffered from an event that took place during a\u00a0time\u00a0of pre-language.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As Bessel\u00a0van der Kolk, M.D. PhD. puts it: \u201cTrauma comes back as a reaction, not a memory.\u201d<\/p>\n So true, and that\u2019s part of why it’s important to find an amnesic memory from early childhood,\u202f especially during the time of pre-language, without triggering the client.<\/p>\n Adverse Childhood Experiences or ACEs can be known or unknown.<\/p>\n Through our research we have found that there is a foundational ACE that has been walled off and is now in an amnesic-like state protecting an early childhood memory, typically pre-language.<\/p>\n Repetitive Behavior Cellular Regression\u00ae is a non-linear, sequencing model for getting to the\u202f\u00a0core of repetitive behaviors. Through the CR Session we\u00a0are able to\u00a0by-pass\u00a0conscious\u00a0and<\/p>\n subconscious synchronization for memory recall.\u202f\u00a0\u00a0We are also able to keep our clients fully present and in a place of healthy detachment.<\/p>\n Rather than having a client tell us the story of a memory, we have them inventory a memory\u202f\u00a0using their 5 senses, in a specific sequence.\u202f\u00a0\u00a0This is what makes RBCR so safe and why it\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0take a psych degree to become a CR\u202f\u00a0Practitioner.<\/p>\n Many of our clients have told us they cannot recall memories from their childhood and\u00a0that\u2019s\u202f\u00a0okay because we guide them to find what we call the Active Block and uncover that hidden\u202f\u00a0memory\u00a0with consistent positive results.\u202f\u00a0This is done \u201cwithout\u201d tapping into emotions, which keeps the client from triggering.<\/p>\n Sometimes we get a client who is so afraid to go through the process because of what they\u202f\u00a0\u201cmight\u201d find, and they are pleasantly surprised that when they get there\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0no big deal.\u00a0That\u2019s\u202f\u00a0always\u00a0so interesting to\u00a0witness.<\/p>\n I created RBCR while helping someone who was dealing with a lot of emotional\u00a0trauma, and continually in and out of hospital psych wards. No therapies, medications, or techniques were working for her.<\/p>\n She is now married and living a normal life in her home with\u00a0a great job. She loves connecting with others and is free of terrible nightmares.\u202f\u00a0RBCR uses the 5 senses while\u00a0observing\u00a0body language and involuntary muscle movements.<\/p>\n It\u2019s\u00a0a question-and-answer process.<\/p>\n Psychologists work from the front of the brain back and hit one-way filters.<\/p>\n Modalities come in from the side and find blocks.\u202f\u00a0We work from the back of the brain\u00a0forward\u00a0so filters\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0get in our way.<\/p>\n \u201cRBCR, Repetitive Behavior Cellular Regression is\u00a0literally a\u00a0process that allows the client to\u202f\u00a0open the back door of their mind.\u201d ~Alexandra E.<\/p>\n To date of the 171 RBCR Sessions I have conducted, 160 were completed in 1 session, 5\u202f\u00a0clients never finished the process, and 6\u00a0required\u00a01 to 3 continuation sessions.\u202f\u00a0\u00a0We are now on 6 continents and in 17 countries, including 27 US States and 3 Canadian\u202f\u00a0provinces.
